[It's a difficult thing for her to find the balance in. Taking care of others is something she has done for so long that she isn't sure she knows how to live in any other way. Even Dohalim falls into that, much as she might not wish to admit it at present. She has taken care of more than a few things on his behalf and surely some of that is not necessarily because it seemed required of her given her position in things.
Offering to help the others even in this world, even considering that she feels they may be closer to her than the other way around, may be a bit selfish on her part. Much of it is done to keep herself busy. To keep herself from thinking about things too much. To reinforce some kind of idea that she is, in fact, in some way important. Some of these things, perhaps, these feelings, could likely be solved if she only spoke of them, but she has yet to reach a point in which she's comfortable to be doing so.
She isn't sure what to make of his offer. Gifting her something. It seems strange. Probably a means of softening the circumstances between them, though gifts will have little effect on that. Instead of saying as much, however, she reaches over, careful that her gloves aren't too dirty in doing so.]
I don't know that you mean 'me' when you say that or the 'me' that you're more familiar with.
[She replies with a touch of care and consideration. She doesn't know what to make of what he's giving her. A bundle of... She doesn't know. She looks around for a place to sit and motions for him to come with her so that she can do precisely that. There's a cart with an open back, relieved of the flowers that once had been sitting there, and as she takes a seat, she sets bundle atop her lap, so she might unwrap it.]
The version of myself, I guess, doesn't matter. Helping out, here or in Dahna... I do it because I want to. It isn't something any of you guys owe me for.
