[Caitlyn was trying to be so careful. She had spotted a few traps before triggering them and disabling them safely, but this one? Yeah, it got her. She's mad at herself about it, too.
She calls for help, hoping someone is close enough by to hear her, but she knows better than to count on that. Hopefully Vi isn't too far away and will come looking for her, but she doesn't want to wait for that long. Instead, she takes a few deep breaths, and starts searching the small space she's found herself. It's not much, a data pad that has the same useless information as all the others she's found, and some pieces of scrap wire. Pieces of scrap that must have fallen through the cracks in the floor from the workshop above, she concludes, but as she rolls the scraps in her hand, she has an idea.
She uses the walls and her own body force to bend the wire, allowing her to stick it through the cracks in an attempt to get through the lock herself. What she doesn't know is Dazai is just above her, watching this all play out.
His words make her jump, and the wire drops back to the ground as she lets out a few curses she's learned from Vi.]
