Arriving at the control room to a floor full of bodies, watching Dostoevsky and Chuuya slowly submerge on a screen, only to be met with the same fate merely minutes later. The fire, the panic, the agony of drowning, and that glimmer of hope when the odds were beaten and there was finally a fresh breath of air.
Dazai's plan. His promise. The sight of him dropping right in front of Sigma with words that still ring in his head,
"I leave the rest to you."
Sigma is, of course, unaware of what all he's just given. Even if he knew, he's too busy sorting through what he'd received to think much on it.
Shortly after arriving Dazai had mentioned a "mind control monster" and little else. That by itself was a frightening idea, but actually seeing flashes of what that meant in action is...disquieting. Especially through the lens of Gogol--it doesn't take a wild imagination to figure why this sort of thing would be a nightmare to him. One now coming back to haunt them all. ]
